How to Incorporate Technology in the Classroom

Every teacher wants for their students to be always engaged in their classroom lessons.  In today's society, everything is revolved around technology.  If it isn't technology, the students don't want to be apart of it.  Here are a few ways you can incorporate technology in the classroom:

Videoconferencing (Skype & Oovoo)
  • Can use to conference with other classes when you want to collaborate and do any project with them.
  • If a teacher is absent, maybe the teacher can Skype or Oovoo the students to let them know what to do.
Webpage
  • Teachers can design a webpage so the students can access the webpage when they aren't in class to see what their assignments are.
  • A way to show students work online or to see classroom sources like maps, art and digital presentations.
Internet
  • Teachers can use the internet to post online quizzes, test and classwork.
  • Communication and collaboration with other people.
It's important to include technology in the classroom because it will catch the attention of the students.  When have technology it saves teachers time and effort when certain assignments need to be done.  If a teacher wants a lesson to be more interesting, they should include technology to make lessons more interesting, motivating and fun.  Along with it being more fun for the students, it brings clarity and understanding so the students can grasp the concepts better.
